Alex assists with the processes for evaluation and economic evaluation of royalty properties. A distinguished reservoir engineer by background, Alex has held senior reservoir engineering positions with Hess, Mobil One, and Denbury Resources, a publicly traded independent oil and gas company, where he currently works as Sr. Reservoir Engineer. In addition, Alex was responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, and management of royalty and mineral properties as a Managing Member of ATL Resources LLC. While at ATL, he structured and oversaw the in-house procedures used for vetting and valuing royalty properties, including in East Texas, where OBR’s current offering is focused. Alex brings strong engineering, royalty acquisition, and geographic specific experience in East Texas to OBR. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
